A single login for users from 1 August 2009.
As from 1 August 2009 access to all CDU services including GeoConvert will be via a single login route, replacing the current two option. See the link above for the full story.

GeoConvert Updated with November 2007 NSPD
GeoConvert has been updated with additional information generated from the November 2007 version of the National Statistics Postcode Directory (NSPD). As part of the update, direct matching of postcodes to LSOA-level Indices of Deprivation 2007 information has been added, in addition to the previous Indices of Deprivation 2004 information. All previous matching and conversion information has been retained for continued use.

Launch of GeoConvert
The Census Dissemination Unit (CDU) is pleased to announce the launch of GeoConvert, its new online service providing postcode-related information, geography matching and geographical data conversion functionalities. GeoConvert is now available at the following URL:

Geoconvert's functions allow users to:

GeoConvert should prove useful to anyone working with large numbers of postcodes, for example in social or medical research, or AimHigher and Widening Participation work. It will also help those wishing to combine geographically-referenced data between geographies or over time.
